There are many ways individuals (like you) and organizations graciously support our outreach to kids, schools and families. Ultimately it depends on what works with one’s current situation, needs and goals. Sweets donors can participate by offering (1) their time and knowledge, (2) financial support and (3) corporate sponsorship. What works best for you?

Time and Knowledge

As a 100% volunteer-driven foundation, Sweets thrives when individuals lend time conducting in-school surveys, participating in events, serving as a Sweets Ambassador, working with program teachers, and providing invaluable guidance as a Sweets Board member. If you’re wondering whether you have the time, the drive or the interest, consider this thought from Elizabeth Andrew, “Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” And if you feel there might be more to life than what you’ve experienced thus far, consider Winston Churchill’s insight, “You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.

Financial Support

A child’s success, and our success, depends upon financial support. Without it, we cannot provide vital resources such as school materials, hygiene supplies, clothing, footwear, sleepwear, cooking goods and much more. With your donations, we can identify critical needs facing schools and youngsters’ home lives.

Any amount will make a difference too, and positively impact a child. One of our questions when surveying school children is what they’d do if given $20. Quite often children have replied, “I’d give it to charity or to my parents so they can pay bills.”

We hope you’ll join us today to empower our future generations.
